As an EDI Implementation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in expanding and maintaining our organization's electronic data exchange capabilities. This position demands technical expertise, project management skills, and collaboration abilities to implement, manage, and optimize EDI systems and workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish, configure, and maintain partner integrations
  • Ensure optimal performance of EDI systems through routine maintenance and improvement
  • Implement EDI standards and new transaction types based on business and partner requirements
  • Evaluate EDI processes for opportunities to enhance data flows for efficiency and ease-of-use
Projects and Implementation
  • Contribute to and lead EDI implementation initiatives and projects
  • Collaborate with SAP team and EDI providers
  • Work closely with third-party logistics and other EDI stakeholders
Data Mapping and Transaction Handling
  • Develop and maintain data maps and transaction sets
  • Analyze and transform data for accuracy and compliance
Technical Support and Training
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and incident handling
  • Train internal teams in EDI processes and systems
  • Enhance the team's ability to resolve EDI issues independently

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT, XML) and communication protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP, SFTP)
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • Demonstrated customer focus with ability to meet project timelines
  • Experience working in ambiguous environments
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • At least 3 years of experience implementing and supporting EDI solutions
  • Project management experience
  • Team leadership experience
  • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred
