Job Opportunity: Mainframe CICS Expert

About this role:

We seek a seasoned professional with expertise in CICS systems programming and administration.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CICS version upgrades, CICS TS upgrades, and Transaction Server upgrades.

Key responsibilities include executing CICS maintenance activities using SMP/E, managing CICS RDO, creating and configuring CICS regions, and modifying CICS configurations to troubleshoot issues.

Additionally, the successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and provide support for z/OS Connect.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge of CICS Systems Programming.
  • Familiarity with z/OS, JCL, REXX, VSAM, Endevor, CA7, ServiceNow, and z/OS Explorer.
  • Experience with CICS upgrades and maintenance via SMP/E.
