Senior UX Researcher Position Overview

The role of Senior UX Researcher plays a crucial part in uncovering user insights and informing impactful design decisions through expertise in various research methodologies.

  • Provides meticulous support to Product Management teams, researching and analyzing findings, coaching and delegating work to team members, leading user research initiatives, planning complex end-to-end studies, synthesizing research findings, working closely with stakeholders, mentoring junior researchers, advocating for user-centered design, staying updated with emerging trends and best practices, leading the development of research documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Essential Skills and Qualifications for Senior UX Researcher
  • Ability to manage large projects independently, recognized subject matter expert, ability to adapt to new technology and processes, strong analytical, communication, and time management skills, ability to interpret research data, identify trends, and translate them into actionable insights, leadership and project management skills, excellent communication skills, understanding of UX research methodologies, ability to collaborate effectively, knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques, UX design principles and processes, organizational and detail orientation skills, knowledge of remote research methodologies and tools, proficiency in using UX Research software.
Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent business experience, 5+ years of relevant experience, preferred experience in conducting user research studies including user interviews, usability tests, study design, participant recruitment, data collection, and analysis.
