Role: Transportation Expertise Professional

About the Role

This role is for a Senior member of our high-performing team, providing opportunities to lead project teams and contribute expertise to world-class projects. You will develop technical designs and delivery models for various highway upgrades, rural roads, and urban roads projects.

This position involves working with multi-disciplined engineers and designers in a fast-paced environment while supporting a strong pipeline of existing projects, ranging in size and scope. You will also work on several major pursuits to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop broad technical competence and check work of all team members.
  • Lead functional teams or projects, overseeing detailed highways geometry design using Civil 3D/Open Road Designer.
  • Responsible for completion of projects to time and cost, briefing project teams on work procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with counterparts and coordinate with multi-disciplined teams on project delivery.
  • Able to estimate pricing associated with projects within your area of expertise.
  • Maintain self-discipline, managing daily work allocation and team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

* Minimum 15 years of proven highway design experience with software proficiency in Open Roads Designer or Civil3D.

* Proficient in AutoCAD or MicroStation, PDS Signs, PDS Lines, Auto Track, MS Word, and MS Excel.

* Working knowledge of CDE platform (Common Data Environment) i.e., ProjectWise, ACC or BIM360.

* BE Degree in Civil Engineering /Post-Graduation in Transportation/Highway Engineering.

Experience:

  • 10+ years' experience in highway engineering design.
