Key Leadership Role in Fabric Mill Operations

The Deputy General Manager Finishing oversees the finishing operations of a fabric mill, ensuring high-quality output and operational efficiency.

Job Description:

As a senior executive, you will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the finishing department, including bleaching, dyeing, printing, washing, and other finishing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Lead the operational management of the finishing department to ensure efficient production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes to guarantee fabrics meet required customer specifications and international standards.
  • Process Improvement & Innovation: Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement methodologies to drive process excellence and product reliability.

Pre-requisites:

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Production Management or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in fabric finishing, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role in a reputable fabric/textile mill.
