Device Support Specialist Job Overview

This is a critical role in our organization, requiring expertise in writing programming algorithms to support devices with Non-Volatile memories.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create algorithms for supporting Non-Volatile memory devices.
  • Update existing algorithms based on new specification changes from semiconductor manufacturers.
  • Analyze support requests to assess feasibility and identify necessary electrical and software requirements.
  • Design and release adapter boards for Socket Modules.
  • Evaluate incoming requests for device support.
  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and leverage AI to complete device support tasks efficiently.
  • Collaborate with QA and the software team on unique testing requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems found by QA or customers.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
  • Proficient in C/C++/Assembly languages, Python.
  • Familiarity with EPROM, Flash, Microcontrollers, and PLDs.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols SPI, I2C, UART, SWD, JTAG.
  • Familiarity with signal integrity, ground bounce, power supply noise, etc.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently or in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with efficient resolution of issues.
  • Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
