Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Security Validation Engineer to join our team at modernize-chip-solutions-mcs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test plans based on requirements.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background as a Software Developer or Software Developer in Test (SDET), with a solid understanding of computer networking (IP, Telnet) and experience with cryptographic operations, algorithms, and common security functionalities.

Responsibilities:

  • Test Plan Development: Develop and execute test plans based on requirements, ensuring thorough testing of software applications.
  • Complex Feature Analysis: Analyze and understand complex new features through documentation review and collaboration with Development and Application teams.
  • Test Case Design: Design, implement, and run test cases including functional, security, fuzz, negative, performance, and stress testing.
  • Result Analysis: Investigate and analyze test results in continuous integration environments.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the development team to debug issues identified during test cycles and create targeted test plans to ensure system security.
  • Custom Embedded Applications: Develop custom embedded applications as needed.

Required Skills :

  • Software Development Background: Strong background as a Software Developer or Software Developer in Test (SDET).
  • Computer Networking: Solid understanding of computer networking (IP, Telnet).
  • Cryptographic Operations: Experience with cryptographic operations, algorithms, and common security functionalities.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in C, Java, and scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills with fluency in English (spoken and written).

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills :

  • Task Management Tools: Hands-on experience with task management and bug tracking tools.
  • Continuous Integration Environments: Exposure to continuous integration (CI) environments.
  • Team Leadership: Prior experience in team leadership and/or coordination.
  • IoT Domain: Knowledge of the IoT domain.
