Job Summary

The Business Data Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) team by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data across various systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To gather, cleanse, validate, and maintain data related to resource utilization, budget vs. actuals, capacity planning, and forecasting.
  • To guarantee data consistency and alignment across internal systems, identifying discrepancies and collaborating with relevant teams to resolve these issues.
  • To provide timely and actionable insights to support ad-hoc reporting and analytics requests from PMO and leadership.
  • To work closely with Resource Managers and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver high-quality updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Resource Management or similar operations/data-focused roles.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, data validation, and other advanced functions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively.
  • Prior experience in a professional services, consulting, or operations environment is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with workforce planning or scheduling tools is considered an asset.
