About the Role

This role is both strategic and hands-on, offering a unique opportunity to drive environmental responsibility and sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sustainability Strategy: Develop comprehensive initiatives that support long-term environmental goals. Identify key areas for improvement and ensure alignment with global frameworks.
  • Data & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report environmental performance data, including carbon emissions, energy usage, and waste management. Prepare ESG disclosures and sustainability reports for stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with local and international regulations. Support audits, maintain documentation, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to promote sustainable practices. Lead awareness campaigns and workshops to foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct environmental risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the company's ecological footprint.
  • Innovation & Research: Stay ahead of industry trends by researching new technologies, materials, and methods that can enhance sustainability performance. Recommend and pilot innovative solutions.
  • Training & Awareness: Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on sustainability practices and environmental compliance.
  • Project Management: Lead or support green projects such as energy efficiency upgrades and sustainability certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, LEED).
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field is required. Certifications in ESG or sustainability reporting are a plus.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in environmental compliance, sustainability program management, or ESG reporting within a corporate environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, with experience in sustainability frameworks such as GRI, CDP, SASB, or ISO 14001. Proficiency in data analysis tools is highly desirable.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and engaging way.
  • Mindset: A proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to driving positive environmental change.
