Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment, product evaluation and recommendation of chargers for deployment.

Key tasks will include testing and evaluating new charge products, designing assessments, and debugging and rectification of chargers and charging issues.

Maintaining 100% availability of chargers and charging infrastructure to ensure seamless operations is also a key responsibility.

Deploying and managing CMS to automate reporting of charger issues, ensuring charger uptime and maximizing utilization will be an essential part of this role.

Additional responsibilities will include preparing and deploying strategies to improve energy efficiency and de-risk chargers and charging infrastructure from breakdowns, supply chain disruptions, and technology risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is desirable.

Experience: 8+ years of experience in EV infrastructure, electrical engineering, facilities management, or related fields.

  • Technical skills: knowledge of EV charging technologies (AC/DC charging systems, connectors, power management etc.), electrical installation practices, and maintenance procedures.
  • Regulatory knowledge: familiarity with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines related to EV infrastructure.
  • Project management: proven experience in project planning and coordination, with the ability to manage timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
  • Communication: strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and government authorities.
  • Problem-solving: ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
