Perishable Quality Assurance Specialist

In this role as a Perishable Quality Assurance Specialist with Amazon Fresh, you'll play a critical part in ensuring the quality of perishable items meets the high standards expected by our customers.
We're looking for a highly skilled professional who is passionate about quality assurance and has experience working with Microsoft Office products and applications. As a Perishable Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing the quality of meat, seafood, fruits, vegetables, eggs, and other perishable items during inbound at Amazon LPC (DC), spokes (UFF-FCs) and vendors.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and strong communication skills, with experience communicating verbally and in writing to senior management and customers. About the Role
This role involves several key responsibilities:
- Reviewing the quality of perishable items during inbound at Amazon LPC (DC), spokes (UFF-FCs) and vendors;
- Rejecting damaged or defective items back to the vendor;
- Making a note of rejected items during inbound (by item/by vendor, quantity);
- Auditing the quality during picking & packing process performed by the LPC associates;
- Monitoring packaging standards during packing process;
- Performing weekly audits of bins and sharing weekly/daily reports with stakeholders;
- Training spoke and DC associates on quality, SOPs and packaging.

Quality of Meat, Seafood, Produce and Perishable is a critical objective for Amazon Fresh and one of the two differentiators for Amazon Fresh customers. Our P3 Quality team is responsible for ensuring that we consistently meet and exceed on that high bar.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around ₹1,200,000 per annum based on location and experience, along with a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for career growth and development.
