We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Venture Fund Associate. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our venture capital fund.

About the Role

The Venture Fund Associate will be part of our core team, working closely with the Managing Director to source investors, structure deals, close deals, evaluate startups, manage due diligence, and support portfolio companies. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from deal sourcing and evaluation to portfolio support and market research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal Sourcing: Identify potential investors and Limited Partners through networks, events, inbound leads, accelerators, and referrals.
  • Evaluation of Investments: Analyze business models, financials, traction, and scalability of potential investments.
  • Due Diligence: Support legal, financial, and compliance checks on shortlisted startups.
  • Portfolio Support: Work with portfolio companies on fundraising, growth strategy, and performance tracking.
  • Market Research: Conduct deep dives into sectors, prepare market maps, and identify emerging opportunities.
  • Fund Operations: Assist with investment memos, reporting to Limited Partners, and internal fund documentation.
  • Ecosystem Building: Represent our organization at startup events, demo days, and founder meetings.

Requirements:

  • A completed or ongoing Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 6-12 months of experience in VC, PE, consulting, investment banking, or startup strategy.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Strong networking skills and prior built-up network.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced, lean team environment.
