Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Design Lead with strong technical expertise and leadership skills to spearhead the development of innovative mechanical designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex mechanical components using various manufacturing processes such as stamping, molding, and machining.
  • Utilize geometric dimension & tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stack up analysis to ensure precise design execution.
  • Proficient in Creo & SolidWorks CAD software for creating 3D models, sheet metal, 2D drawings, and assemblies.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturability considerations for sheetmetal & plastic.
  • Develop and implement DFMEA to identify relevant product risks and create mitigation strategies.
  • Identify suitable materials and apply DFM/DFA concepts in design to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Familiar with latest engineering design methods, tools, and processes to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Experience with standard NPI/NPD process and compliance requirements to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Hands-on experience with Windchill PDM/PLM for managing the lifecycle of components from design to delivery.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a disciplined team to achieve common goals.
  • Presentation and articulation skills to effectively communicate with key stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and proactive attitude to drive collaboration and results.
  • Quality mindset in design and documentation to ensure precision and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/BE/BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 4-8 years of experience in mechanical design with a focus on leadership and technical expertise.
