Conversational AI Trainer

We are seeking a skilled Conversational AI Trainer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and training conversational AI assistants that simulate real-world interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will design multi-turn conversations that mimic real user interactions using various tools like calendar, email, maps, and drive.
  • You will emulate both users and AI assistants, including the assistant's tool calls, to ensure logical flow and proper usage.
  • You will craft dialogues that demonstrate natural language, intelligent behavior, and contextual understanding across multiple turns.
  • You will generate examples showcasing the assistant's ability to complete feasible tasks, recognize infeasible ones, and engage in general chat when tools aren't required.
  • You will ensure all conversations adhere to defined formatting and quality guidelines, using an internal playbook.
  • You will iterate on conversation examples based on feedback to improve realism, clarity, and value for training purposes.
  • You will collaborate with peers and reviewers to maintain consistency and high standards in deliverables.

Requirements:

  • You should have 3+ years of overall professional experience in a technical or analytical field.
  • A strong grasp of APIs, data formats, and logical thinking is more critical than specific toolsets.
  • You should have strong general technical reasoning skills and ability to model real-world assistant behavior using tool-based APIs.
  • You should be able to break down complex tasks and simulate realistic dialogues reflecting user expectations and assistant limitations.
  • Excellent written communication skills in English, focusing on clarity, tone, and instructional coherence.
  • Creativity and attention to detail in crafting realistic scenarios and responses.
  • Experience working with or around LLMs, virtual assistants, or function-calling frameworks is a plus.
  • Able to follow detailed guidelines and formatting standards with high consistency.
