Job Title: AI Governance Specialist

**Overview:**

The AI Governance Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic implementation and governance of AI tools, ensuring precision, security, and compliance.

This position is crucial in enhancing technological capabilities and maintaining a competitive edge in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and manage data privacy controls to prevent sensitive data from being trained on AI models and enforce zero-retention policies.
  • Deliver comprehensive audit logs, compliance reporting, and monitoring for OpenAI usage to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Implement robust guardrails and moderation tools to enhance the security and reliability of AI applications.
  • Track and analyze model performance and usage metrics, producing regular reports for leadership to inform strategic decisions.
  • Optimize prompt engineering and evaluate cost/performance trade-offs to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to API calls, latency, and integration failures to ensure seamless operation of AI tools.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for AI tool management, including setup/configuration steps, governance rules, and best practices.
  • Develop knowledge bases and wikis for developers and end users to facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Provide expert-level support for OpenAI-related incidents and collaborate with security, compliance, and engineering teams to expand safe and responsible use of AI tools.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in AI applications engineering or a related role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AI tools, particularly Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic.
