Key Responsibilities include managing and maintaining RedHat, CentOS, and other Unix/Linux environments.

  • Manage VMs, software packages, user accounts, file permissions, system tuning, and performance troubleshooting
  • Develop Shell scripts for automation and implement LVM, TCP/UDP, SNMP, DNS, NFS, ssh, sudo, and syslog configurations
  • Ensure system services are running smoothly, perform system hardening, and handle break/fix issues
  • Implement release management and patching strategies

Candidates should possess a minimum of 5+ years' experience as a Linux systems administrator or equivalent education/training.

  • A degree resulting in an associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and relevant professional certifications
  • Familiarity with ITIL and ticketing systems, enterprise monitoring systems, and cloud administration (AWS, Azure, Google)
  • Relevant certifications: RHCSA, RHCE, CCENT, VMware VCP, AWS, Azure
