Geo-Environmental Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Geo-Environmental team in Bengaluru, India. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of postgraduate experience working in the Geo-environmental field.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and coaching team members, managing day-to-day activities, delivering projects with the help of other team members, Project Managers, and Directors within the UK team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with extensive experience in the UK contaminated land sector to develop their leadership and technical consultancy skills.

The role involves organizational and administrative responsibilities, requiring skills such as planning, analysis, and judgment. You will be responsible for both technical and commercial project delivery, including effective delegation and checking of work.

You will also be responsible for line management and mentoring of junior staff, ensuring their technical development and career progression.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership of projects and line management of staff, including supporting career development goals of junior staff.
  2. Provision of reliable, efficient delivery of environmental consultancy services, and regular feedback on performance.
  3. Working in an integrated manner with limited supervision, understanding tasks and deadlines, and delivering tasks in a cost-effective and timely manner.
  4. Successful project management of complex projects/tasks, with strong commercial awareness.
  5. Providing technical direction, including robust reviews of technical work prepared by others, with constructive and developmental feedback.
