Job Title: Ecommerce Solutions Specialist

As a seasoned ecommerce professional, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance e-commerce solutions using cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing standards for development, source code control, documentation, digital testing practices, and release management to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
  • Contributing to the development of IT department's policies and procedures for e-commerce platform optimization.
  • Collaborating with software development teams using source code management software such as Git to ensure efficient version control and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in ecommerce development with a focus on scalability and performance.
  • Proficient in Java development with substantial experience in implementing robust ecommerce solutions.
  • Experience in integrating various payment providers to ensure secure transactions.
  • Hands-on experience in creating standalone microservices to enhance ecommerce functionality.
  • Proficiency in code versioning and control systems (such as SVN and GIT) to manage complex codebases.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and ability to implement scalable ecommerce solutions.
  • Understanding of SQL (MySQL, Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server) to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit to ensure high-quality ecommerce solutions.
  • Experience integrating with CDN/Web Analytics/Application Monitoring and Alerting technologies to enhance ecommerce performance.
  • Proven experience in leading a team of developers and enhancing the team's technical skillsets to drive ecommerce success.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with ecommerce systems (such as Shopify, Commercetools, and BigCommerce) is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with product information management or ERP systems (like Microsoft Dynamics) can be an advantage.
