Job Title: Regenerative Agriculture Professional

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will oversee production and operations, focusing on strategic planning, supply chain management, customer delivery metrics, and collaborating with the sales team to meet market demand and optimize production.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage cluster-level production & operations.
  2. Responsible for production planning, logistics, and customer delivery metrics.
  3. Work closely with the sales team to achieve market forecast and plan production to ensure continuous supply of products as needed by consumers.
  4. Execute contracting farming activities with network farmers, adhering to company best practices.
  5. Mobilize suitable farmers, motivate, train, and guide them in adopting regenerative organic production methods according to UFCo protocols.
  6. Monitor farming activities to ensure adherence to practices and prevent chemical usage.
  7. Oversee collection center activities at each RAC, receiving produce from network farmers, sorting, grading, and storage.
  8. Ensure produce quality and collaborate with operations teams to supply produce to the Collection Centre/Distribution Centre.
  9. Plan RAC-level input production according to vegetable production plans.
  10. Collaborate with technical teams to execute regenerative agriculture practices and provide feedback from the field to the Technical Centre of Excellence.
  11. Explore opportunities for expansion across multiple locations within the same region.
