Service Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electronics and electrical engineering principles, with experience in commissioning, service, and repair of marine and shipbuilding systems.

  • Commission and maintain complex control systems on ships, including tank gauging, ballast water management, and valve remote control systems
  • Develop, test, and commission PLC programs and SCADA systems using brands such as Schneider, Phoenix, Rockwell, Allen Bradley, or Siemens
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic faults on ships, utilizing logical and critical thinking skills
  • Coordinate with customers to ensure smooth service and commissioning processes
  • Travel to various locations for customer site visits
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Electronics/Automation/Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in commissioning, service, and repair of marine/shipbuilding systems
  • Strong understanding of control systems, sensors, actuators, transmitters, and control valves
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
