Job Title: Tibco Support Engineer

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Tibco Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to customers, troubleshooting complex issues, and developing excellent communication skills to provide exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultation to debug customer problems of low to medium complexity.
  • Develop communication skills to provide support to the TIBCO customer base.
  • Mentor junior engineers for technical help on Product related issues.
  • Understand product issues reported by customers and reproduce them locally in the support lab.
  • Provides feedback to customers and escalate issues to senior members when necessary.
  • Attempt to provide workarounds to reduce the need for Change Requests.
  • Create Change Requests for defects/enhancements reported by customers.
Requirements
  • Skills and Qualifications:
    • Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
    • Good knowledge of programming languages JAVA and debugging skills.
    • Good understanding of Unix and Windows operating systems and ability to simulate/debug problems on these.
    • Working knowledge of several technologies: J2EE, JMS, XML/XPATH, Web services, web development, app/web servers, networking, TCP/IP, HTTP, SOAP.
    • Working knowledge of Open source messaging technologies like Apache Kafka, Pulsar, MQTT.
    • Good knowledge of databases (Oracle/SQL server/DB2) and proficiency in writing/analytics SQL queries.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong customer-oriented attitude.
    • High level of personal motivation.
    • Proven capability to own/drive/responsibility.
    • Ability to work in an international multi-site environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Java certification/database certification.
    • TIBCO product knowledge.
    • Knowledge/experience of Cloud technology.
