About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at NTT DATA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, install, test, and operate client infrastructure at their site.
  • Perform necessary checks, apply monitoring tools, and respond to alerts in a timely manner.
  • Identify problems and errors prior to or when they occur and log incidents with required detail.
  • Analyze, assign, and escalate support calls to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Investigate third-line support calls assigned and identify root causes of incidents and problems.
  • Report and escalate issues to 3rd party vendors as necessary.
  • Provide onsite technical support to clients and deliver field engineering services.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of incidents and service requests, analyze, and recommend quality improvements.
  • Provide continuous feedback to clients and affected parties and update systems and portals accordingly.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for work optimization, including automation of tasks.
  • Manage and implement projects within technology domains, delivering effectively and promptly per client requirements and timelines.
  • Implement and deliver Disaster Recovery functions and tests.
  • Perform other related tasks as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology/Computing.
  • Certifications relevant to provided services carry additional weightage on candidate qualification.
  • Experience with VMware product suites, including ESXi management and troubleshooting.
  • Extensive knowledge of virtualization administration, server hardware, and storage administration.
  • Experience with Windows Server administration, Linux Server administration, and Virtualization administration.
  • Excellent working knowledge of ITIL processes.
  • Seasoned experience managing platforms, including a combination of the mentioned areas.

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
