Job Title:

Production Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Production Supervisor to oversee shop-floor operations in our composite manufacturing division. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in composite production and the ability to lead a team towards achieving daily production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on Pultrusion and molding lines (SMC, DMC, BMC, Hand Lay-up).
  • Ensure compliance with production schedules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards.
  • Monitor and control production parameters – resin mixing, mold preparation, curing, trimming, and finishing.
  • Coordinate with the QA/QC department for in-process quality checks and corrective actions.
  • Maintain production records, logbooks, and shift reports.
  • Train, guide, and monitor workers/operators to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
  • Implement and maintain 5S and workplace discipline across assigned lines.
  • Support preventive maintenance planning and raw material requirement reporting.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Mechanical, Polymer, or Production Engineering.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in FRP manufacturing processes – specifically Pultrusion, SMC, DMC, BMC, and Hand Lay-up.
  • Excellent technical understanding of composite manufacturing.
  • Strong team handling and shift supervision skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and monitor processes effectively.
