About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Chief Automation Strategist to drive our software development team's automation efforts. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing efficient testing strategies that ensure the highest quality standards for our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prioritize and execute test automation initiatives to drive process efficiency and quality.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
  3. Develop and manage test execution plans, ensuring seamless integration with development and product teams.
  4. Lead continuous improvement in the automation process by identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes as needed.
  5. Mentor junior team members, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Test Automation using Java and JavaScript for both UI and Service layers.
  • Prior experience working on Trading or Financial Services domains.
  • Excellent understanding of API testing and ability to certify core applications at a functional level.
  • Solid experience writing comprehensive test scenarios, cases, and plans aligned with business requirements.
  • Familiarity with BDD, ATDD, and containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Jenkins CI/CD, Xray plugin for JIRA, and requirement analysis, defect tracking, and test reporting.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
