Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ABAP developer with a strong background in SAP HANA and CDS modeling to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in developing embedded analytics models/VDM on CDS views, as well as extensive experience in data modeling, preparing datasets, merging, appending, custom hierarchies, custom calculations, groupings, formatting values, data wrangling, dimensions, and measures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop embedded analytics models/VDM on CDS views
  • Design and implement data models for SAP HANA
  • Prepare datasets, merge, append, create custom hierarchies, perform custom calculations, groupings, format values, and perform data wrangling
  • Develop CDS based data sources in S/4HANA
  • Configure live data and import data connections and data acquisition for SAP HANA, SAP BW, SAP BPC, SAP S4HANA, SAP BO Universe, SQL, OData Services, Microsoft Excel, and flat files
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in ABAP development on HANA
  • Extensive experience in developing embedded analytics models/VDM on CDS views
  • Excellent knowledge of CDS modeling, data modeling, and data preparation
  • Good experience in SAP BW modeling, data extraction, and reporting areas
  • Experience in BEx Query Designer, Customer Exits Variables, Roles & Authorization
  • Good knowledge of Smart Business KPI modeler
  • Proficient in SAP HANA performance tuning concepts and data modeling best practices
  • Good knowledge on different engine getting used in SAP HANA like Join Engine, Calculation Engine, and SQL Engine
