Senior ABAP Developer - SAP S/4 HANA

We are seeking an experienced Senior ABAP Developer to join our team in India. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality ABAP programs and objects in the SAP S/4 HANA environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP programming with 10-15 years of experience, including expertise in core ABAP concepts such as reports, forms, module pools, and enhancements. You will also be familiar with Object-Oriented ABAP and ABAP Web Dynpro, and have experience working with data dictionary objects, including tables, views, and data elements.

Additional responsibilities include optimizing existing ABAP code for performance improvements, participating in code reviews, and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate should be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP programs and SAP modules, and develop and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.

  • Design and Develop: ABAP programs and objects in the SAP S/4 HANA environment.
  • Collaborate: With functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Optimize: Existing ABAP code for performance improvements and adherence to best practices.
  • Participate: In code reviews and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot: Issues related to ABAP programs and SAP modules.
  • Maintain: Technical documentation for developed solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of experience in ABAP programming with a focus on SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Strong knowledge of core ABAP concepts, including reports, forms, module pools, and enhancements.
  • Experience with Object-Oriented ABAP and ABAP Web Dynpro.
  • Familiarity with data dictionary objects, including tables, views, and data elements.
