Transportation Operations Specialist

NOC, the central command and control center for 'Transportation Execution' across the supply chain network, supports multiple geographies like North America, India, and Europe. It ensures seamless pick-up and delivery of freight from vendors to fulfillment centers and from fulfillment centers to carrier hubs.
The team resolves exceptions and keeps stakeholders informed on the proceedings. Additionally, they analyze network trends and automate processes or propose changes to streamline operations.
NOC plays a critical role in ensuring smooth transportation and has a direct impact on Amazon's ability to serve customers on time.
A Trans Ops Representative facilitates information flow between different stakeholders and resolves issues impacting customer experience and business continuity.
They work across inbound and outbound operations, ensuring timely resolution of issues through research and real-time decision-making.
Key responsibilities include communication with external and internal customers, systematically escalating problems, and presenting findings in review forums.
Trans Ops Representatives work in a 24*7 operating environment to provide real-time customer experience.
Bachelor's degree holders with relevant work experience can apply. They must have good communication skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Preferred qualifications include a graduate degree, logical skills, and the ability to facilitate information flow between different teams.
