Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our team as a Production Support Specialist.

This is an exciting opportunity for professionals who have strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot and are passionate about solving real-time production issues while contributing to development efforts.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Engineering team to develop solutions for customer reported problems, participate in daily scrum meetings to update the development team about the ongoing escalation and their statuses, and own highly technical customer escalations with clear expectations and timelines.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Use technical and analytical skills to solve critical customer/field technical escalations from our Support, Professional Services, Sales and Pre-Sales teams.
  • Work with the Engineering team to develop solutions for customer reported problems.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings to update the development team about the ongoing escalation and their statuses.
  • Own highly technical customer escalations with clear expectations and timelines.
  • Build tools and techniques to help with Root Cause Analysis using the data available on platform and by digging deep into code base.
  • Reduce time to resolve product issues by fixing them as needed after RCA.
  • Provide timely updates to issue reporting teams to improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Work with Product management team to identify and implement backlog requirements which could add value to product.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience:
  • 6+ years' experience in technical product support type role. Preferably in escalations team.
  • Skills:
  • Software development experience using Java technologies.
  • Good understanding and working experience of MySQL/MariaDB/RDBMS and database concepts.
  • Good understanding and working experience of Microservice architecture environments on AWS.
  • Experience troubleshooting and helping with root cause analysis for customer/support/field reported issue.
