Accountant Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to handle daily accounting tasks, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support management with accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in Tally, and experience working under a CA or in a CA firm. They should also have a good understanding of AP/AR, GST, MIS reporting, and compliances.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Handle daily accounting tasks like Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and ledger entries
    • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and MIS reports
    • Perform month-end and year-end closing and reconciliations
    • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, ITR, and other statutory requirements
    • Manage inventory accounting and cost analysis
    • Support audits with proper documentation
    • Generate reports as needed by management
    • Process entries like contra, journal, receipt, and payment
    • Work with teams to optimize costs and improve processes
    • Follow accounting standards and company policies
  • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
    • 2–3 years of accounting experience, must have worked under a CA or in a CA firm
    • Proficient in Tally (knowledge of Zoho or other ERP tools is a plus)
    • Good understanding of AP/AR, GST, MIS reporting, and compliances
    • Experience with inventory accounting is preferred (F&V domain is a plus)
    • Strong analytical and communication skills
    • Able to work independently and meet deadlines
    • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting tools
