At Applicantz, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Observability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technology organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable observability platforms across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and deploying synthetic monitoring solutions, driving adoption of APM tooling, and embedding monitoring into modern service architectures. Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda) and Dynatrace is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect secure, resilient, and scalable synthetic monitoring platforms.
  • Lead Dynatrace APM adoption with standardized instrumentation and deployment models.
  • Define onboarding strategies for cloud, hybrid, and edge telemetry sources.
  • Integrate observability tooling to deliver unified insights.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and develop custom synthetic monitoring solutions.
  • Contribute to open-source or internal observability tooling/standards.
  • Drive documentation, training, and cross-team knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with application teams to embed monitoring into new service architectures.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience with Dynatrace and Synthetic Monitoring.
  • Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions.
  • Familiarity with other monitoring/observability tools is a plus.
