CIM Equipment Automation Developer

Develop and implement computer integrated manufacturing (CIM) equipment automation solutions to drive efficiency in production processes within a clean room environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing CIM equipment automation solutions that incorporate vendor products and SEMI standards.
  • Collaborating with fabrication organizations, operation users, and partners to implement and develop robust CIM solutions through quality coding and testing.
  • Hooking up semiconductor equipment with customized protocol (SECS GEM) through communication hosts.
  • Building expertise in equipment communication, performance tracking, process job management, and carrier management.
  • Parsing equipment data for pertinent information to support backend engineering systems.
  • Maintaining high uptime and reliability of automation tools and CIM related systems.
  • Managing database transactions and Oracle packages for data management and performance tuning.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong programming skills in C, C#, Java, SQL with a minimum 2-10 years of development experience.
  • A keen interest in working in clean room environments and conducting quality checks.
  • Willingsness to learn SEMI standards and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • A strong sense of urgency in CIM operation support and execution.
