Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Equity Research Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our investment group, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data and making informed investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate financial models with scenario analysis to support our investment strategies
  • Conduct in-depth research on various sectors and industries, utilizing DCF, relative, SOTP, and other valuation methods to inform our investment decisions
  • Create detailed assumptions and valuations with supporting rationale, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all models
  • Analyze large datasets to identify investment opportunities and provide actionable insights to our portfolio managers/CIOs
  • Present and discuss investment ideas and stock updates with our portfolio managers/CIOs, clearly communicating complex information and recommendations
  • Prepare comprehensive earnings reviews, previews, and attend conference calls and management meetings to stay up-to-date on company performance and industry trends
  • Develop pitch notes/presentations, industry, and thematic notes to effectively communicate our investment views and strategies
  • Maintain databases and collect/analyze news to stay informed on market developments and emerging trends
  • Handle ad-hoc research requests from our investment teams, providing timely and accurate support as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional financial modeling and research report-writing/presentation-making skills, with the ability to think critically and analyze complex data sets
  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workflows under tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks and meeting objectives
  • Numerical abilities and analytical mindset, with experience working with financial data and models
  • Ability to build complex, error-free models with well-defined revenue/cost driver assumptions, leveraging macro/industry analysis to inform output
  • Conduct earnings sensitivity analysis and provide own valuation views after conducting relative, DCF-based, or industry-specific valuations
  • Write clear and concise reports, summarizing complex information into bulletins and one-page summaries
  • Leverage macro/industry analysis to inform output and develop effective presentations
  • Collect and summarize news, providing valuable insights and preparing charts, tables, and databases
