Job Title

Controls Testing Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Testing Lead to support the development of testing methodology for critical key controls across our global business.

This role focuses on assurance activities over resiliency material and critical controls testing, with potential to move into other operational risk domains.

  • Develop and execute controls testing plans
  • Communicate, agree upon, and monitor gaps in controls in line with our risk management processes

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Controls Testing Manager in identifying and prioritizing testing activities
  • Planning and executing control tests, including coordinating review process with stakeholders and reviewing quality of work performed
  • Presenting results to senior management and engaging other stakeholders in agreeing actions plans
  • Collaborating with Data Analytics team to identify opportunities for converting manual testing into analytics based testing and continuous assurance activity
  • Providing feedback to design and implementation teams on learnings identified as part of control testing

Education and Experience

  • Educated to degree level
  • 4+ years' experience in information security controls assurance or IT audit (Big 4 and/or internal audit experience desirable)
  • Understanding of IT systems and operations
  • Experience performing controls testing
  • Experience with data analytics or continuous monitoring
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and resilient working in a fast-paced global functional team
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Broad knowledge of compliance regulation, controls, and risks assessment methodologies
