Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Solutions Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to customers on various opportunities to optimize their electrical systems and create lead generation business opportunities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Advise customers on different opportunities to optimize their install base and create lead generation business opportunities.
  • Lead or contribute to Services small projects coordination and execution on customer site (end of life, modernization, upgrade).
  • Perform basic audits of customer's electrical systems and equipment.
  • Understand Eco-struxure offer and provide technical explanation to Customers.
  • Document all required information for each site (technical report).
  • Properly document, label, and return all defective parts utilized in the repair of equipment to the designated disposal/repair location.
  • Develop innovative solutions to more complex technical problems that arise during start-up.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new products or equipment upgrades that will meet customer needs.
  • Assist Schneider Electric Service Partners in site visits, evaluating technical and professional performance.
  • When at customer site, looks for other business opportunities outside current scope of work and lead them to the sales team.
  • Is in permanent coordination with his/her planner/coordinator for smooth execution of on-site activities.
  • Will escalate to Services technical expert in the countries as needed when unable to solve a technical issue.
  • Perform Services Operations by providing best in class customer experience and promote Schneider signature.
  • Must comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.

Requirements
  • Knowledge of electrical protection system.
  • Knowledge of SCADA communication will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Electrical equipment safety parameters its operation philosophy.
  • Knowledge of relay, its setting etc.
  • Knowledge of switchgear, transformer Motor operation industry application.
  • Knowledge of Modbus/Profibus communication IEC 61850 protocol.
  • Knowledge of Ethernet switch, Gateway, Router its application in digital network.
  • Knowledge of system architecture in-terms of digital network.
  • Knowhow of cybersecurity clear understanding on data flow through cloud.
  • Basis communication skill able to manage customer independently.
  • Lot of travelling involved being an IOT engineer
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures, professional documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Team player

  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills are a must.
  • Strong business acumen, with great organizational, communication and presentation skills.
