Job Title: Director of Product Engineering

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the product engineering team to deliver high-quality products that meet customer expectations. This involves managing the design, development, and testing of products in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers to develop and implement product designs and specifications.
  • Manage the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, suppliers, and customers, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Develop and manage budgets, resources, and timelines to achieve program objectives.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and process enhancements.
Requirements
  • Mastery of automotive seating systems design and development principles.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience in directing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to think strategically, drive innovation, and make informed decisions based on data analysis.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in the field, with a proven track record of delivering results-driven projects.
