Responsibilities

As a Principal Applied Scientist, you will be responsible for building contextual AI experiences for end-users on Power Pages. You will have the opportunity to drive innovation by producing new and exciting ideas to creatively solve issues and actively look for opportunities to improve product quality.

Requirements

  • A master's degree in Information Retrieval, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, or a related field.
  • Proficient industry experience in the areas above or a publication record.
  • Proficiency in Python, Pyspark, or C#.
  • Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills, with expertise in developing or applying predictive analytics, statistical modeling, data mining, or machine learning algorithms, especially at scale.
  • Grounded in a growth mindset and an advocate for diversity and inclusion.
  • Customer obsession and passionate about product impact.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify and explain complex ideas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Math, Physics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in the application of Language Models and Transformers.
  • A publication record in top AI venues will be considered a plus.
