Key Analog Design Engineer Role

We seek an experienced Analog Design Engineer with 3-4 years of experience in characterizing Analog Mixed Signal macros to contribute to our team.

Job Summary:

  • Develop and Maintain Characterization Models: Utilize Hspice simulations to create accurate characterization models for Analog Mixed Signal macros.
  • Extract and Optimize Timing Models: Extract and optimize analog-digital interface timing models for accuracy checks.
  • Ensure Quality and Consistency: Conduct rigorous QA checks to guarantee the correctness of characterization data.
  • Format Compliance: Provide timing models in multiple formats as required by projects.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the characterization process and implement automation using shell/perl/tcl or python.
  • Advanced Characterization Tasks: Leverage Hspice/Spectre simulators for advanced characterization tasks.
  • Effective Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate results effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Analog Mixed Signal Macros Characterization: Develop, maintain, and improve characterization models for Analog Mixed Signal macros.
  • Timing Model Extraction and Optimization: Extract and optimize analog-digital interface timing models for accuracy checks.
  • QA Checks and Format Compliance: Conduct QA checks and ensure correct formatting of timing models.
  • Automation and Process Improvement: Implement automation using shell/perl/tcl or python and identify areas for improvement in the characterization process.
  • Advanced Hspice/Spectre Simulator Experience: Utilize Hspice/Spectre simulators for advanced characterization tasks.
