Lead Electrical System Designer

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead electrical system design activities to ensure product performance and reliability.
  • Define architecture, system, and component-level requirements to meet customer needs.
  • Analyze new architectures/products using FMECA, simulations, modeling, etc., to ensure they meet certification standards and requirements.
  • Evaluate and implement designs, documentation, and test plans to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Establish integration processes and common tools identification to improve productivity and efficiency.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of power supply design, power converters, analog and digital control, MOSFETs/GaNs, gate driver circuitry, transformer/inductor design, etc.
  • Experience in multiple product development stages - circuit design, simulations & analysis, manufacturing, and validation.
  • Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools such as Spice, MATLAB / Simulink, PSIM, and PCB Design tools such as Eagle/OrCad/Altium.
  • Knowledge of solar arrays/MPPT/Battery/BMS/Wiring Harness topics.
Benefits and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical system design.
Additional Information:
  • Aerospace/Automotive domain experience preferred.
