Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to spearhead the growth of our high-performing team from scratch.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can architect, build, and optimize systems using Java, Spring Boot, Python, Angular, Postgres, NLP, AI Agents, Langchain, LLMs, Voice Agents, and cloud infra (AWS/GCP).

As the Sr. Manager/Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for leading a world-class engineering team across backend, frontend, AI/ML, DevOps, and product velocity.

The successful candidate will have 8-12 years of total experience with at least 2+ years in a tech leadership or team lead capacity.

The role requires a strong system design and architecture thinking, ability to roll up sleeves, write code, debug performance issues, and ship fixes fast.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing engineering team across multiple disciplines.
  • Architect and build scalable systems using various technologies.
  • Own the technical vision and strategy for the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive engineering initiatives.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve team productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of total experience in software development and engineering management.
  • At least 2+ years in a tech leadership or team lead capacity.
  • Proven hands-on skills in backend development, frontend, and cloud infra.
  • Experience working with AI/ML teams and latest AI agentic models.
  • Strong system design and architecture thinking.
