Job Role Overview

The role of the Program Development Specialist involves supporting and strengthening existing and upcoming skill development programs across Odisha.

  • Coordinate end-to-end execution of skill training programs across multiple centers, ensuring compliance with project guidelines under DDUGKY, OSDA, and other schemes.
  • Establish partnerships with government departments, local authorities, and training partners to facilitate smooth program implementation.
  • Support mobilization, training operations, assessments, certifications, and placements for candidates.
  • Regularly monitor center performance through on-site visits and comprehensive reporting.
  • Assist in documentation, audits, and submission of reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement training programs and capacity building initiatives for field staff and trainers.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the skill development sector, preferably in managerial or supervisory roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and related digital tools, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of Odisha's regional and administrative landscape, including its geographical and socio-economic characteristics.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the state, conducting site visits and engaging with local communities.
