We are seeking a qualified AI Physics Trainer with expertise in analytical skills to help fine-tune and evaluate large language models.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solving complex physics problems, including mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum theory.
This role involves completing tasks such as determining the maximum radial distance an electron reaches from a conductor's axis or calculating the probability of a pion decaying within a certain distance.
These tasks aim to identify model weaknesses and improve training and evaluation workflows.
Candidates should possess:
- A PhD/Postdoc in Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills to solve advanced physics problems
- Clear communication skills to explain complex topics and provide feedback
- Research independence to work remotely and participate in team discussions
- Access to a reliable computer and internet setup for remote assignments
This is a contract position requiring at least 4 hours/day and minimum 20 hours/week with 4 hours of overlap with PST. The duration of the contract is 1 month with a selection process involving task-based assessment followed by a contract offer with defined timelines and workload.
