As a Database Operations Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our database systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve system issues or escalate to development teams. Additionally, they will monitor support queues, prioritize, investigate, and resolve escalated incidents and service requests, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance, and product management on unresolved technical issues.

The ideal candidate will analyze incidents and conduct root cause analysis to identify trends and collaborate with customers and development teams to implement actions that prevent reoccurrence. They will also review, create, and maintain documentation related to applications, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

In this role, you will conduct business and operational readiness reviews for project implementations to proactively identify production issues. You will provide technical assistance to users on complex queries and provide guidance on application functionalities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop scripts or automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks, enhance monitoring capabilities, and improve overall efficiency in application support processes.
  • Analyze incident and customer usage metrics, generating reports, and providing insights to improve applications, incident management processes, and customer experience.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and guidance to team members.
