Job Title: Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure.

This role is part of the IT Global Infrastructure & Operation team and will be working closely with departments to understand pain points and come up with long-term strategic improvements within the LAN and wireless domains.

  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure based on enterprise needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to connectivity, performance, and security incidents.
  • Monitor network performance and identify potential bottlenecks or other issues that could impact performance.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, including network segmentation and secure group tokens (SGT).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in network administration and Cisco networking technologies.
  • Strong working knowledge of Cisco network hardware, software, and management tools.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and availability to work outside of regular business hours, as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design and Implementation:

  • Develop and implement network architectures that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth network operations.

Network Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

  • Identify and troubleshoot network issues related to connectivity, performance, and security.
  • Perform routine network maintenance tasks, such as switch and router upgrades.

Security Measures:

  • Implement and maintain network security protocols, including firewall rules and access controls.
  • Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement patches.
