Job Title: Java Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development team to design and develop high-quality backend systems using Java.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Participate in User Story grooming, produce technical or implementation design, API specification as per standards.
  • Develop unit tests using Junit and ensure comprehensive coverage of all codebases.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, blockers in stand-up, work with technical lead / architect to deliver sprint commitments.
  • Fix bugs / issues from SIT, ST/UAT, aiming for zero defects.
  • Demonstrate expertise in cloud-native applications development using Java, Springboot/Springcore, and other relevant technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Java, Springboot/Springcore, Hibernate/JPA, Postgres/Oracle/Db2, and REST API.
  • Experience in developing Microservices/SOA Architecture and working with messaging systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools for building and deploying changes.

Bonus Points:

  • Prior experience in developing cloud-native applications using the mentioned tech stack.
  • Familiarity with GRPC and RPC protocols.
