Embedded Cybersecurity Expert Wanted

We are seeking an experienced embedded engineering cybersecurity professional to join our team.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in code development for multitask embedded systems running in Linux, VxWorks/RTOS, and Windows.

A seasoned programmer with object-oriented design (C/C++) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell, PowerShell) skills is essential for this role.

Familiarity with Open-source software (OSS), Git, GitHub, Debian GNU/Linux, Ubuntu, and the ability to work with cross-functional and global teams are also required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring each release of the runtime SDK meets internal and external cybersecurity standards.

This involves collaborating with the runtime Cybersecurity Advisor/Coach, providing cybersecurity expertise through guidance in architecting, designing, and threat model mentoring, evaluating, tracking, and resolving product and runtime cybersecurity issues in 3rd party packages.

A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related discipline is necessary for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the runtime Cybersecurity Advisor/Coach to ensure each release of the runtime SDK meets internal and external cybersecurity standards.
  • Provide cybersecurity expertise through guidance in architecting, designing, and threat model mentoring to members during development cycles.
  • Evaluate, track, and resolve product and runtime cybersecurity issues in 3rd party packages.

Technical Skills:

  • 8-12 years' experience in code development for multitask embedded systems running in Linux, VxWorks/RTOS, and Windows.
  • Seasoned programming skills with object-oriented design (C/C++) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with Open-source software (OSS), Git, GitHub, Debian GNU/Linux, Ubuntu.
  • Demonstrate ability to work with cross-functional and global teams.
