Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Video Content Quality Specialist to join our video production team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of video production standards, ensuring all video content meets the team's editorial, technical, and creative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and approve videos for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with quality benchmarks before publication.
  • Cross-check scripts and grammar, pronunciation, and display a strong command over the English language across visuals and audio.
Technical Quality Assessment:
  • Inspect videos for technical quality, including resolution, color grading, transitions, audio levels, and overall synchronization.
  • Flag and guide corrections for issues such as poor framing, sound inconsistencies, or graphical errors.
Compliance & Ethical Standards:
  • Ensure videos meet legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines, including copyright and fair use laws.
  • Verify that sensitive topics are handled with appropriate editorial care.
Collaboration & Feedback:
  • Work closely with video producers and editors to provide constructive feedback.
  • Develop and maintain quality checklists and guidelines for consistent reviews.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Production, or a related field and minimum 2+ years of experience in video editing, production, or quality assurance within a media organization.

The selected candidate will have an in-depth understanding of journalistic principles and editorial integrity, proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and quality assurance tools, strong analytical and reporting skills for assessing video content against set standards, and knowledge of broadcasting and digital video requirements, including social media optimization.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Production, or a related field
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in video editing, production, or quality assurance
  • Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
