Job Title: Senior Java Backend Developer

Role Description:

  • Design, develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Java.
  • Implement unit tests to ensure maximum code coverage and use version control.
  • Develop understanding of performance testing and optimization techniques for space, memory, and speed.
  • Work on continuous integration and have solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Stay up-to-date with various design patterns, as well as concurrency patterns in Java.
  • Write clean, readable, and reusable code and have experience working with databases.

The ideal candidate will have strong background in software development, preferably with 5+ years of experience. They should be proficient in Java, Spring, RESTful APIs, with knowledge of PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and Maven. Knack for writing clean code and experience with continuous integration are essential.
