Job Summary

This role is responsible for executing fieldwork and testing across various laws, including anti-money laundering, privacy, anti-corruption, consumer protection & fairness.

The ideal candidate will design and implement the overall testing program, exercising strong and independent risk assessment skills during alignment stages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Timely execution of fieldwork and testing across various laws
  • Design and implement the overall testing program
  • Maintain regular dialogue and communication with team members on progress and potential findings
  • Lead conversations with senior stakeholders during kickoffs, testing, and issue alignment discussions
  • Train and mentor colleagues in upskilling themselves with relevant knowledge and practices
  • Collaborate with compliance leadership on strategic initiatives to improve the delivery model
  • Work with business to develop remediation plans addressing findings
  • Detect and identify emerging regulatory risks or impending legislation impacting the Compliance Monitoring Plan
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 6 years of experience in internal audit, regulatory compliance within a bank/financial institution with an Anti-Money Laundering background
  • A good academic qualification with experience in compliance or law and Anti-Money Laundering knowledge as an added advantage
  • Chartered Accounts, CPA, CIA, ACAMS, MBA, or certifications in audit preferred
