We are seeking a seasoned .NET Lead with 6+ years of experience to spearhead software development using the .NET framework. The ideal candidate will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems, and provide expert user support. In this role, you will be required to write high-quality functional code and possess a sharp eye for spotting defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead .Net / SQL projects and microservices architecture
  • Critique business, functional, and high-level technical requirements (including recovery, security, and audit)
  • Promote and define development standards
  • Perform coding of complex modules, as needed
  • Design solutions for high complexity projects
  • Assist with project estimating and milestone planning
  • Ensure quality and consistency throughout the architecture and implementation of the code base
  • Manage, organize, mentor, motivate and delegate tasks to a team of talented software engineers
  • Act as a highly competent advisor to their manager, leads and team
  • Create unit tests and ensure code coverage is met as per the agreed standards

Requirements:

  • Ability to design / develop / maintain production database (SQL Server) using TSQL.
  • Strong object-oriented design patterns and methodologies
  • Experience in Agile development practices, .NET Full Stack, and development / architecture of REST-based and SOAP-based APIs
  • Knowledge of queues, scaling, performance, and rigid rules to create robust systems, as well as TFS, Bitbucket, GIT, Gitflow or SVN source control systems
  • In-depth understanding of branching and XML serialization
