The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of GCP services including database management. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in programming languages such as Python or Java and have experience in building pipelines using these languages.

Main Responsibilities

The data engineer will design, implement, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines on GCP, including batch and streaming data ingestion, database management, and data warehouse concepts. Key skills required for this position include:

  • Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL)
  • On-premise and on-cloud database management
  • Understanding of SQL vs NoSQL and types of NoSQL databases
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of data warehouse concepts
